It took me a while to get it in my head that just because I was personally not a fan of a band, it didn't mean that they weren't talented. :) And yeah, folk does seem to be able to get way more women in it than rock music does. Maybe its because its less corporatized and the music is considered "soft" and thus more appropriate for women?
