Record label + drugs, from the sound of it. I can't believe that was 2004, wow. And since I dug out my copy for reference, well... I still love it.

Ahhh! For some reason I misread that that was a Hole album. Thanks for the clarification! Now I gotta relisten and see what I think.

It honestly might as well be a Hole album, imho, though it sounds closer to their early stuff than Celebrity Skin.
